Simon Benninga is Professor of Finance at Tel-Aviv University and Visiting Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After studying mathematics at the University of Michigan (BA) and the Hebrew University (MSc), he received his PhD in Finance at Tel-Aviv University. His academic areas of interest are corporate finance, term structure, and computational finance.
Benninga’s executive teaching and consulting is in the areas of financial modeling and valuation. Clients include: Bear Stearns, Arthur Andersen, Alpha Bank (Greece), Pepsi Bottling Group (USA), BA Financial Consultants (Argentina), New York Institute of Finance, Neptune Orient Lines, Electric Generating Co (Bangkok), and PWC. He is on the board of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and a visiting professor at the University of Amsterdam.
